First Mate Chris Mickey
Chris Mickey, from Wilmington, NC, grew up fishing with his dad. After losing his father at sea in 2005, Chris became a commercial fisherman, learning about different types of fish like Grouper and Bluefin Tuna.
In 2000, Chris moved to Florida's west coast, then to Boca Raton where he started working on fishing charters. He found he loved teaching others about fishing in South Florida, using his 34 years of experience.
Chris has caught almost every kind of fish in the Atlantic. He's a great addition to South Florida Boat Charter and the Don't Panic Fishing Team. His knowledge and friendly personality make him an important part of our boat charter service in Pompano Beach.
