At Don't Panic Sportfishing, we respect the privacy of our guests and visitors. We make every effort to keep this website in line with strict standards for online privacy, security, business practices, transaction integrity and availability. Information We Collect

We ask for the information we need to identify you and run your charter ("account information"). That is typically your name, phone number, email address, the date you want to fish, and the size and makeup of your group. We use it to hold your date, to reach you about your trip, and to answer questions you send us through the site.

We also collect demographic and usage data in aggregate. That information helps us improve the website, send the email you have asked for, and show content that is more relevant to you. We never make personal information about an individual visitor available to anyone.

Payment Information

Deposits and charter payments are processed by our third-party booking and payment providers, not on this website. Any financial information you enter goes directly to that provider and is used to verify your identity and bill you for the trip you booked. We do not store your card number on this site.

How We Share Information

We will never share your personal information with a third party without your permission, except where disclosure is necessary to process a payment or to provide a service you requested. In those cases we provide no more information than the transaction requires. We do not release personal information about you as an individual. The only exception is if we are compelled to do so by an appropriately empowered government authority.

We do not sell, rent, loan or allow outside access to our guest contact lists.

Email and Text Messages

Your email address and phone number are used only to send you what you asked for: trip confirmations, questions about your date, and any updates you signed up to receive. We follow a permission-based email policy. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, unsubscribe requests are honored right away, and no further messages of that type are sent afterward.

If you text us to ask about a charter, we use your number to reply about that charter. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

IP Addresses and Analytics

Your IP address is logged to track a website session, but your identity stays anonymous. Tracking IP addresses tells us which parts of the site are used most often and which pages people read, which is how we decide what to improve. Our cookie policy explains how cookies and third-party advertising cookies work on this site, and how to opt out.

Children

This website is meant for adults booking a charter. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Kids are welcome on the boat, and any information about a young angler in your group is given to us by the adult making the booking.

Your Choices

• Ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it.
• Unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in that email.
• Ask us to stop texting you about a trip.
• Ask us to delete your contact details once your charter is complete.

Our Commitment

We take reasonable precautions to abide by this privacy policy. If we do not comply with a term in it, you agree that by using this site and submitting information to it, your sole and exclusive remedy is to ask us to promptly correct how your information is handled going forward, and to notify anyone we transferred that information to of the correction or to stop using it.
