Do I need my own fishing license on a charter?
No. On a half-day fishing trip out of Pompano Beach the license, rods, reels, tackle, bait, ice and bottled water are all included. Just bring food, drinks and sunscreen.
What fish live in the Intracoastal near Pompano Beach?
Snook, tarpon and jack crevalle hunt near the mangroves and seawalls, feeding hardest on moving tides in early morning and late afternoon. A few miles outside Hillsboro Inlet the reefs and Gulf Stream hold sailfish, mahi, kingfish, snapper and grouper.
